These loafers feature upper leather from Tannery d'Annonay in France.  The meticulous tanning process confers the leather with remarkable durability, wear resistance, and visual appeal. The upper and lower are assembled using the Goodyear Welt technique.  This distinctive method involves stitching a strip of leather, known as the welt, to the shoe's upper and insole before attaching the outsole to the welt.  This approach ensures not only durability and comfort but also the possibility for repeated resoling, significantly extending the life of your shoes. We recommend sizing down a half size. Made in England
